What type of information I have 

I currently collect and process the following information:

  • Personal identifiers - name, address, email address and telephone number. 
  • In addition, if you have completed an assessment with me I will also hold - D.O.B, religion nationality, culture, who referred you, occupation, next of kin details, specialist details, brief medical history, previous therapeutic history, 

How I  get the information and why I  have it

Most of the personal information I process is provided to me directly by you for the following reason:

  • As a result of an assessment to enable me to tailor a therapeutic approach to suit your individual needs and G.P. and next of kin details in the event of an emergency.

I may also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:

  • Third party specialists, such at Psychiatrist or G.P. Only with your express written permission. You have the right to withdraw consent at any time. 

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases I rely on for processing this information are:

(a) Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting me in writing at confidential@taraday.co.uk

(b) We have a contractual obligation.

(c) We have a legal obligation.

What I  do with the information we have

I use the information that you have given me  in order to compile a bespoke therapeutic treatment to suit your individual needs, contact you, contact a third party specialist, or contact your next of kin in the event of an emergency. 


I  may share this information with third party specialists with your express written permission or emergency services in the event of an emergency. 

How I store your information 

Your information is securely stored in a locked filing cabinet if hard copy or a password protected device if digital. 


I keep personal information until the completion of our work together . I  will then dispose your information by shredding hard copies and deleting digital files. 

Your data protection rights

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

Your right of access - You have the right to ask me for copies of your personal information. 

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask me to rectify information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask me to complete information you think is incomplete. 

Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask me to erase your personal information in certain circumstances. 

Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask me  to restrict the processing of your information in certain circumstances. 

Your right to object to processing - You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.

Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that I transfer the information you gave me to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, I  have one month to respond to you.
